Dear Communikids Preschool DC Families,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome back all children who will be returning to CommuniKids Preschool for the 2026-2027 school year! As a current student in the 2025-2026 school year, your child will automatically have a guaranteed spot the following school year. Communikids will be following the DC Public Schools calendar for the 2026-2027 school year and our first day of school is scheduled for Thursday, August 27th.

Students that turn 3 or 4 by September 30^th, 2026, will be granted a spot in the Free PreK Enhancement and Expansion Program for the 2026-2027 school year which is free for DC residents only. Please note that all free Pre-K three and four spots are dependent on the Program funding being renewed each year by OSSE.

Paying families will receive a separate Student Enrollment Agreement via email once we receive this re-enrollment letter signed. For your reference, tuition and fees are listed at the bottom of this page. Paying families will be required to submit the non-refundable and non-transferable $525 enrollment fee (applied toward the 2026–2027 annual tuition) upon signing the Student Enrollment Agreement, which you will receive after completing this re-enrollment form.

Special Aftercare Agreement
As part of our commitment to meeting the needs of our families, we offer special aftercare services for children enrolled in our preschool program. Please review the details below and indicate your preference for our special aftercare services and the additional fees for them. Special Aftercare Program Fee: The annual fee for the special aftercare program services are $6,125.00. Families enrolled in special aftercare services are required to pay this fee in ten equal monthly installments of $612.50 from September through June. These monthly payments for special aftercare services will be reflected in your invoices and will be shown separately from your tuition.

PKEEP Enrollment Fee

CommuniKids will charge a $75 administrative fee, approved by the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), to help cover the costs of managing the PreK Enhancement and Expansion Program (PKEEP) and its waitlist. This fee helps us continue to provide an excellent preschool experience for your family.
